The book"Make the Victim Talk"



This young adult fiction is a contemporary romance story, set in Nigeria. It’s a character-driven story filled with deception, romance, and uncertainty, including desire and despair.  It weaves lies with love, and disloyalty with commitment, in a dangerous manner that nearly led to catastrophe.
The theme revolves around socio-cultural cum religious issues in a typical Nigeria society with emphasis on marital love, human desire, and relationship, economic hardship etc.

BRIEF SUMMARY:
Radi, a dedicated young man tries to survive amidst harsh working environment and marital turmoil. What he didn’t know is that his wife, Uge, is emotionally indebted to Rank, her childhood boyfriend. The death of his father-in-law creates a new hurdle, that is made worse when he learns that Rank is the biological father of his four-year-old son. 
Rank discovers Uge’s secret, on his return from London and shows her the gate. His hunt for another life partner leads him to Chisa, who coincidentally is Radi’s younger sister. Somehow, he was able to pull through. Hence, prepares for a historic wedding that is shrouded in mystery and anxiety. From his ugly past, an intriguing scene unfolds, but not with Jeff in the picture.


SYNOPSIS
Uge breaks her four-year-old Marriage of two kids with Radi because she is forced into it by her father.
The inevitable separation occurs following the death of her father and subsequent return of Rank from London.
Radi who is trying had to accommodate his wife’s disrespect, biting economic hardship and family responsibility is shocked to learn that someone else is the biological father of his four-year-old son.
Uge meets secretly with Rank and tries to cover up her past, but her many lies leave wrong impression in Rank’s mind, as he demands his son.
Just when Uge thinks that her plan is working perfectly, Rank abandons her and her son.
While Radi is trying hard to forget the trauma of a broken home, Rank is busy looking for a wife.
The like of Uge, Steph, Mary, and Gene fails his expectation of a life partner until he reunites with his earliest crush Chisa.
To make the marriage work, Chisa resigns from her job but many unknown obstacles still threaten the wedding ceremony, including the kidnap of Rank and treat of financial inclusion by Uge. Thanks to the wisdom of Jeff, and the clergy who against all odd, leaves all happy and satisfied.
